The unique Michel
Born in Spain, married to a South-American woman, and having lived in the Netherlands for many years, Michel is fluent in Spanish, French, Dutch, and English.
At least three times a week at daybreak, Michel rides his bike in the green belt around Brussels.
He is a passionate reader, biographies or about management or history mostly. Currently, he is reading Greta Thunberg's book. Michel has 350+ books on cheese in his library, which is adorned with wood prints of ... cheese. He is an avid cheese taster and is involved in quite a few craft cheesemakers.
Inspirators, yes, but heroes, no. Malala, the Obama's, and ML. King, to name a few. The greatest inspiration of all is his stepfather, with whom Michel traveled a lot while he was the first United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights of the UN. Michel has had the honor to meet many unique people and experience many memorable moments.
For years Michel has been mentoring young job seekers with an immigrant background and supporting them in their job search. Every mentoring journey is a privilege: seeing a caterpillar turn into a butterfly is the greatest gift.
