Unique Yves

  • What do you do in your spare time?

As a hobby cook, I like to create tasty dishes for family and friends with fresh and tasty ingredients. Choosing the right products and deciding on the right process to compose a well-balanced but perhaps a bit surprising taste is an excellent source of energy for me.

In addition to that, I am a passionate golfer. I like being outside, performing a technical sport, and being mentally challenged. Not to forget the social aspect of course ,…

  • What motivates you?

Like most of us, positive feedback as well as achieving targets, either set by myself or business-related. Besides that, a big motivation driver is enabling people to grow and see them develop.

  • Who is your hero?

I don’t have a real personal hero. All those who selflessly contribute to a better society are, for me, the real heroes.

  • What is your motto?

Do the basics right, and you are special.” I see many people and companies striving for perfection by creating complex solutions while neglecting the basics.

  • What advice would you give your young self?

Be authentic, have faith in others, chase your dreams, and don’t take yourself too seriously.

  • Why do you want to mentor?

I want to be part of the development of people, starting from my experience offering help to become a stronger leader, a better colleague, and, in the end, being part of a better performing company.

  • What makes you a good mentor?

Understanding the role of a mentor, being able to talk freely, and creating a trustworthy environment.

  • Did or do you have a mentor in your career?

Yes, I had a great mentor who supported me in achieving senior management. At that very moment, I was not always happy with what he said, but I never doubted his good intentions and his good advice.

Stay positive, fight against negativity, and learn from the past but look forward!
