Unique Elizabeth

I am a young female corporate leader with roots in Belgium & Lebanon. I try to balance the best of all worlds in everything I do. Professionally, I believe in combining a high level of hard skills with people-centric soft skills. It takes a specific skill set to build a strategy and an entirely different skill set to take people along with you to make the strategy come to life.

I have worked with different mentors throughout my career, and each mentor-mentee relationship has been inspiring & accelerating in its way. I believe it is never too late for a mentor, so I continue searching for people who can further inspire me in everything I do (work or private).

I am also a big believer in “paying it forward” and have organically been mentoring quite some people who have crossed my path. It energizes me to see them take steps forward towards their own goals and celebrate successes together.

When I am not working, I love spending quality time with my two small children, husband, family & friends. When I need some time alone (hello ambivert), I will go running, take a yoga class, read a book, or experiment in the kitchen. I get energy from interacting with authentic, honest people. We don’t have to share the same vision on everything, but when you’re coming from a place of integrity and respect, my door is always open.

Looking back on what I have learned & experienced so far, I would tell my younger self to be less hard on herself and that it is OK to prioritize herself now and then.
