The unique Mercedes

Curiuousness being one of Mercedes' distinctive traits, she spends many hours with her nose in books. After having devoured Obama's bio and Angela Duckworth's book on grit, she's currently reading 'Positive Discipline' by Jane Nelsen. She also likes to play chess with her 6-year-old son and play tennis outside.

The combination of servant leadership and focus on adding value sets Mercedes in a continuous constructive questioning modus: "How can I help you achieve, how can I contribute, what are the lessons learned?"

She'd advise young Mercedes to find value in every step of her life. "Don't get anxious about your future. Think about the positive impact you can have now, about the value you bring today."
