Experienced writer with a passion for storytelling and literature. I possess a strong ability to transform complex ideas into engaging narratives. Driven by the exploration of various genres and themes, with a focus on depth and authenticity. I try to offer a unique perspective and a smooth writing style that touches both the hearts and minds of readers. Published two historical novels: De Morsecode and Tot de duivel het schip keert, this last one was elaborated as a playwright and brought on stage at the Fakkeltheatre. I recently published the play "1981" about Aids (OpenDoek)
I also write French poetry and won the poetry contest - Concours de la Francophonie with the poem "Que fait-on s'il y a plus rien? On s'efface du monde.' I'm also an addict of the French chanson.
Currently writing a non fiction book on how to set up a learning organization. So writing takes most of my spare time.
I think its important to involve in activities such as a writing workshops, and mentoring programs to inspire aspiring writers, promote literacy, and foster a love of reading. (Schools, Libraries, Associations, including Davidsfonds, Markant) For the same reason I am a mentor for others also in business environments. To inspire and make people grow.
My personal hero is Brené Brown. She offers profound insights into the concept of connectivity through her work on vulnerability, empathy, and human connection. The way she reflects about herself and makes others reflect without putting your self or the other aside, but by being honest and authentic is a big inspiration for me. My moto is a quote from her:
Connection is why we’re here; it is what gives purpose and meaning to our lives.
Our newsletter is about leadership development through business mentoring.
