In my spare time I love hiking and trail running, especially in the mountains, but above all I like quality time with my wife, our 5 children and their partners, and our 2 granddaughters.

My hero is Dixie Dansercoer with whom I had the priviledge to conquer wonderful white spaces such as the Greenland Ice Cap, the Northpole etc. Dixie had the exceptional gift and talent to offer advice and comfort with his wise and gentle words in a humble manner.
