I have gained extensive experience in various leadership and coaching roles at both Human Resources Management and Organisational Development and General Management. Today I enjoy building a start-up into a successful organisation.
During my 22-year career in both the private and public sectors, I have held various positions in diverse organisational structures, cultures, and partnerships in regional, national, and international contexts. I consider this to be my greatest asset.
I am passionate about investing in the growth of people, teams, and organisations as a lever for success for their customers, themselves, and society. I find it incredibly fascinating how people move within the ecosystem of their lives.
I am most in my element, both privately and professionally, when I can explore, discover new things, experience, create, and undertake new ventures. Each time, I unwrap the surprise gift that comes my way like a child discovering it for the first time.
My broad interests and helicopter view make me most interested in strategic themes that have an impact on multiple levels. I like to read different perspectives to keep my mind sharp in times when AI algorithms offer us more and more of the same. I can also get lost in conversations with people and teams.
During both the setting and realisation of objectives, I am committed to the cause and channel resistance along the way. Occasionally, I can overdo this, at which point I become demanding and push too hard. Fortunately, the years have taught me to temper these tendencies with a healthy dose of leniency.
I thrive in organisations where social added value (in the broadest sense) is created. I seek out contexts where there is respect for people, the planet, and purpose, with equality in collaboration at the core. I am no stranger to enjoyment, both in small and big moments of happiness.
Being able to make a significant difference in someone else's life is my biggest driver for being a mentor. A flower blooming is like a gift opening up :)
