More than 25 years of experience in generalist HR management functions in SMEs or Belgian sites of international organizations.
From the Management Team, I aim to translate the company strategy into a sustainable, proactive, and people-centred HR policy.
Legal background, analytical, hands-on, “strict but fair”.
I believe in an HR culture in which people are central — not as isolated elements, but in connection with the organization. When both grow and strengthen each other, sustainable progress emerges. This mutual growth also requires shared responsibility, something I strongly believe in.
As a mentor, I enjoy guiding people in their development. I provide insights, highlight strengths, and help mentees stand more consciously in their own power. But I am not there only to transfer knowledge — I walk alongside them, ask the right questions, challenge, inspire… and also dare to confront when that is necessary for real growth.
Alongside my professional life, I am the mother of three (almost) adult daughters. Their busy schedules teach me every day to improvise, plan, and put things into perspective — skills that also benefit me in my work. In my free time, I recharge while travelling with my family or partner, but I equally enjoy seeking silence in an abbey or monastery, for a weekend of meditation and mental rest.
I continuously nourish and challenge myself: through books (I buy more than I can read), training, and inspiring conversations via my network. As a certified mindfulness trainer, I keep the saying panta rhei — everything flows — close to me. Everything is constantly in motion: our thoughts, emotions, our body, and the world around us. The degree to which we are aware of this determines our resilience and our ability to respond.
This conscious way of standing in life is something I gladly share with those I guide.
