I do not believe people are the greatest assets to companies – it’s how we empower them that matters. We must invest in their development and enable them to gain the necessary skills, capabilities and knowledge.
I am a fan of Socrates and his ideas about self-reflection - "know thyself" or γνῶθι σεαυτόν (gnothi seauton); although these words cannot be attributed to Socrates.
I prefer to de-connect in my garden or while I'm actively exercising or watching sports myself (my favorite football team can be announced upon request).
