Unique Xavier
Xavier is a digital reader on topics like Supply Chain Management, transformation, leadership, and organization and people development.
Heroes Xavier finds in his family. His mother was his mentor. Her mirroring and challenging kept his feet on the ground and laid the foundation for what he does well today. His wife is the strongman of the family, bringing structure and conformity. And his children's candid feedback is refreshing.
Young Xavier, he'd advise being more open to other insights and growing in breadth. The better the foundation, the easier and more comfortable the steps up are. Don't think too fast that you've learned everything.
During his entire career, Xavier learned from others around him. "It's essential to surround yourself with several people from whom one can learn. One needs to seek those people out consciously," Xavier explains. No wonder Xavier finds a mentor role most befitting for him.
"Pay attention to your energy level," Xavier tips. If you are losing energy, ask yourself how you handle the situation. You might want to change the approach and the context. And switch jobs if your job is draining your energy. Dare to make tough decisions.
