Hello, I am Vincent, I am married, father of three children, and an economist by training.
I have a career of 35 years in financial services at one of the major Belgian banks. In my career, I was mainly active in sales and distribution, think corporate banking,
think than retail banking, but also as CFO of one of our foreign subsidiaries and as CEO of a company active in real estate development.
The common thread in my career is change management and coaching employees.
Assembling close-knit and high-performance teams have always been my priority.
The financial crisis has been the catalyst in the financial world for profound changes in the distribution system and market approach.
Since then, this evolution has only accelerated, which requires great adaptability, both from management and employees.
Why would you choose me as a mentor now?
Don't expect big theories from me. Mentoring is a learning process, for both the mentee and the mentor.
I am convinced that my practical knowledge of how organizations work and the various functions I have performed can help you find your way in a demanding and changing environment.
Together we can develop your personal leadership objectives further.
My leadership style is certainly not based on the place you occupy in the social or the hierarchical ladder, but on authenticity, empowerment, and honest feedback.
I hope to meet you in the next few months to work this out further. And, if you choose me as a mentor, to put this into practice.
Our newsletter is about leadership development through business mentoring.
