The unique Sam
Those were different times when an ambitious young man with an engineering degree couldn't find a job. He used the time on his hands to learn car mechanics. Decades later, his daughter can't get over the dozen old-timers Sam is fixing in his garage. When completely restored, Sam goes rallying with his 60's automobiles.
Sam loves to write. He is the author of books about leaders as mice and elephants. A new book is in the making. The topic is top secret 🙊
He regrets never having had a formal mentor but is most grateful his wife takes up this role now.
His motto is "Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes." Prejudice hinders collaboration. "Free yourself from the engrained prejudices" is the advice he'd give young Sam.
Sam comes from a socially engaged family and has learned that a business leader has a social function. Helping people, he finds very rewarding, and seeing people happy fulfills him with joy.
Our newsletter is about leadership development through business mentoring.
