Unique Gijs

As a father of three sons, caretaker of a large garden, attending as many concerts and festivals as humanly possible, and regularly following training, Gijs doesn't get bored. On his nightstand lies a book on sociocracy, the bookmark on page one 😉

Gijs is passionate about helping to increase a person's self-insight in the way that's best suited for that person. "There is nothing so unequal as the equal treatment of the unequal," says Gijs, underpinning his tailor-made approach.

His heroes are the mothers and fathers who don't have it easy, work every day, and struggle. And Mandela, because of his simplicity, forgiveness, and ability to connect.

To young Gijs, he'd say: "Fall, wipe the blood from your knees and elbows, think what you can do better, learn and move on." Knowing that making mistakes is okay, is even desirable, would have made a difference in the world for this young man.
